Volunteer Coordinator and Assistant Volunteer Coordinator

The Food Bank of Delaware is currently accepting resumes for the positions of Volunteer Coordinator and Assistant Volunteer Coordinator. The Volunteer Coordinator organizes and oversees the volunteer program, supervises the Assistant Volunteer Coordinator, recruits, trains and retains qualified volunteers and oversees "The Market", our low-cost retail food store in Wilmington. This is a full-time position requiring availability on weekends and evenings. A qualified candidate should be able to lift 50 lbs and have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. A general understanding of volunteering and hunger issues, and/or familiarity with warehouse equipment are all pluses. The Assistant Volunteer Coordinator position is also full-time.
